I purchased this model of Premiair air purifier during the January sales in the vague hope it would help remove pet dander and dust as we have an old persian cat who is in poor health so must be leaving hair and dander all over the house and my grandson has asthma and excema so I wanted to protect him when he stays with us
This machine is whisper quiet on the low setting so can be left on all day while you are in the room. It is a bit noisier on medium but when tv is on cannot really be noticed but is noisy on maximum setting. It has a timer so can be used efficiently during the day and max setting used on timer while you are out
The difference in air quality is quite obvious even my husband noticed and commented that the air felt so fresh and clean in the lounge. The added bonus of the apple scent in the air makes you feel you are in a fresh garden. Full marks to this product I would not be without one now and have purchased another for the bedroom to help remove all the dead skin and dust mites that cause all the dust in a bedroom

This is the best air purifier for the money I have tried. It emits a cool stream on ionised air which freshens the room really quickly. I have one sat next to my computer running on low which is amazingly quiet. Sometimes I use it in the kitchen when I am baking and it keeps the air cool and fresh. It's only slight draw back is the angle of the air stream. It either goes up virtically, or comes out horizontally (you can have it either way). Ideally I would have it at 45 degrees from the work top - but this is a small quibble. It really is an excellent machine -I am just about to order another one!
