With powerful x3 zoom optics, 3.1 megapixel resolution and 16 MB memory, the Yakumo Mega-Image 37 will master the requirements of even very ambitious digital photographers.

It features three separate manual exposure programs as well as three manually selectable flashing light intensities.

The compact metallic case makes the Mega-Image 37 a camera that can be easily taken wherever you go. It even records small video sequences which can be viewed on its 1.6" display right away. Its memory capacity may easily be expanded by inserting a SD memory stick.

    The Yakumo Mega-Image 37 is a basic 3MP digital camera, no more and no less.
    You certainly get a lot for your money, true 3MP resolution, 3x optical zoom, battery and charger and all amenities of a consumer digital camera. Beyond the basics you get a workable video mode, a couple of predefined scenes settings and some control over white balance and image quality.
    But that's where it stops! The quality of the pictures taken wont convince someone switching from analogue. The autofocus is unreliable and takes too much time in comparison with recent branded products and the produced colours are sometimes off the mark.
    Nice to play with or as a second camera you wouldn't mind breaking, but no substitute for the real thing!

    I wanted a camera that had 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, could take short video clips and had to have at least 3 milltion pixel resolution. My final part was that I needed it at a cost of £100. I thought this would be impossible, but that was my budget.

    I searched for ages until I came across a company called Yakumo. I had never heard of them, so did some reaseach via the web. I was amazed as the quality of their products.

    The camera does exactly as it says. It give you all of the above...all for £99. The quality of camera is good. The casing is strong and the optical zoom very strong. Downsides are that the camers does not come with a Secure Digital card, although you can store about 15 on the camera (that's at 3million resolution). My advice is get a Secure digital card (ideally 128 MB). This costs about £40.

    A fantastic camera..ideal for 1st time users or like myself, familiar with digital cameras. Don't let the unknown name of Yakumo put you off..if it does, you will miss owning a great camera with functions that would normally coast you nearly £200. I would recommend this camera.

    This camera is great!!

    For its price the 3 million pixelled, optical and digital zoomed beauty is great

    A lot better then my dads kodak camera which was twice the price and rubbish in comparison

    The battery pack lasts for ages
