DVD Description
3-disc set containing all three parts of the 1996 Only Fools and Horses Christmas trilogy: Heroes and Villains, Modern Men and Time On Our Hands.

Heroes and Villains
No income tax, no VAT and certainly no guarantee of anything but laughs as Del and Rodders hit the high-rise world of inner-city dealing. Trotters Independent Traders Company (TITCO) remains commercially unviable. Del is stuck with 125 unpredictable Latvian radio alarms, the council have rejected his home improvement grant application and Rodders is on a sex programme that would leave Roger Rabbit knackered. But when our fancy-dressed caped crusaders turn street vigilantes, they find being on the right side of the law has its own rewards.

Modern Men
Little Damien is growing up fast but little else has changed in Mandela Towers as Del Boy, Rodders and Uncle Albert continue to lurch from one disaster to another. Del considers the snip (and regrets flogging Doctor Singh that dodgy paint) and, with the help of a new man’s manual, is learning to give attention to Raquel – if only she’d stop talking while he’s trying to read. Meanwhile father-to-be Rodders, "accustomed to the security of an irregular wage", is applying for a new job. Can the Trotter business empire survive without him?

Time On Our Hands
After 16 years of selling knock-off down the market, Britain’s best-loved ne’er-do-wells make it good in an episode that pulled in a record 24.1 million viewers. Raquel’s parents are coming to lunch so Del pulls out all the stops – if only Uncle Albert knew the difference between coffee and gravy granules. The next morning, Rodders’ stock-take reveals Trotters Independent Traders Company’s assets as an artificial leg, some Showaddywaddy LPs and a broken watch. But Raquel’s father knows a bit about antiques and spots something that will change their lives forever. Could it really be that "this time next week" they’ll be millionaires?

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderous Only fools comes to DVD, 9 Feb 2004
The wonderous Only Fools And Horses, christmas film edition has finally been released on DVD, David jason, Nicholas Lyndhurst, and the other hilarious charcaters, make this boxset one of the funniest available.

Delboy and Rodney, light up the screen with there comic escapades , the three classic episodes will enthrall all audiences. The classic episodes are christmas edtions from the 90's, the batman and robin episode, is among them, wo can forget David Jason dressed as Batman, talking to a bemused counciller, of course Del being Del turns it into a money spinner, getting £5000 from the council for a home improvment grant, watch to find out where the money goes.

The other two episodes are memorable, they star Cassandra and of course Raquel, these two really captivate the screen along with Del and Rodney, they create the air of completion to the Trotter household.

This DVD set is well worth buying and at a good price to, the trilogy will be funny for an eternity and is suitable for all ages, just watch to find will they ever become millionaires

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic end to a series spoiled by BBC's editing...again, 16 Feb 2004
By A Customer
Why is it every time the BBC release only fools and horses on DVD something has been cut out or changed? On these dvds, on episode 1 Heroes and Villains the tune played when Damian is around has been changed which ruins the joke completely and in the final episode at the end, the song is different to the original. This is my only problem with it. The episodes are fantastic with a good 3 or 4 gags a minute at times but why o why have the BBC changed bits again? If you have the original episodes taped of the TV, don't bother buying this. One small point, the VHS versions have the same edits, the only way you'll have the original versions will be if you taped them off the tv when they were originally broadcast

5.0 out of 5 stars The Christmas Trilogy, 1 Mar 2004
By Mr. K. Parr "krlparr" (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Destined to be the last ever Only Fools and horses following winning there millions, but due to public controversy, they had to bring out more.

A must for any avid collectors, although I can't say that this is the best they have ever bought out, but I'm not saying it not very good. In terms of Only Fools and Horses, every episode is funny, original and every one remeberable. Every episode past and present even though you have watched them over and over again, seen them on TV, they are just a appealing to watch again.

BUY THIS NOW, or you'll miss out on what is now a TV legend. John Sulivan was a pure genius and imaginative writer. LONG LIVE ONLY FOOLS AND HORSES.
