The Seal of Evil story is set in the twilight years of the Warring States period of Chinese history (476-206 B.C.). This turbulent time marks the disintegration of the longest lived of all imperial dynasties, the Zhou.

Out of this strife and chaos emerges a nobleman possessed of an indomitable spirit and am uncompromising vision of the future: Ying Zheng, ruler of the Qin state. He will stop at nothing to reunite the disparate Chinese kingdoms. Combining ancient legends and mythic story telling with historical fact, Seal of Evil sets the stage for an epic adventure wherein the players struggle to thwart the Qin invasion of their peaceful homeland, East Baiyue. Ferocious beasts, merciless enemy soldiers, wicked bandits and terrifying supernatural foes are hazards they must face in order to achieve this goal.

There is still hope for them, however, for along the way they will also make many friends and acquire powerful weapons and equipment, And armed with mighty elemental magic, they may yet come face to face with the very Gods themselves...

Having played RPGs for years, and wanting some old school type adventure to while away the hours, I picked up Seal of Evil about 5 days ago.

Havne't played much else since. If you're after an RPG some serious depth and a story thats inspired by the legendary Jet Li film Hero - then get this game.

Sooo much to do. Colourful graphics and an awesome soundtrack to boot.

Takes you back to an age when games were crafted with love.

Unfortunately, I didn't try to install this game for 3 months. When I did try the installation failed early with a DLL error (on windows XP sp2). The GMX Media support number is not recognised by BT and e-mails directed to their web site do not receive a reply. No telephone numbers are listed for the company.

I bought this game being a fan of Diablo 2, I thought the graphics and gameplay seemed similar so thought it a good idea at the time. How wrong I was, the voice acting is appaling, there is no clear indication of where you want to be most of the time, and you can easily find yourself lost. The combat is rather dull with tedious sound effects and very little else. The story line seemed a little weak, as a result I didn't bother to finish the game as I really couldn't care less how it ends, and the characters are very easily forgotten soon after.
If it was possible I may have stretched to give this game a 1/4 star rating, but as it stands the lowest available is 1 star. Avoid at all costs.
