Logitech Di Novo Well worth the money !!!!, 31 Dec 2003
Ever felt your keyboard just lets you down with its standard plain old beige colour with its tacky keys?No surprise here but Logitech come tops here, the keyboard splits in two and runs off 4 AA batteries in the main keyboard and 2 AA batteries in the Media Pad, it comes with Duracell batteries, (Not Rechargeable) so far the batteries have been in for 6 days and it still says they are full. The media pad you can use as a remote, so if you had your computer connected to a TV you could use the media pad to play songs watch movies and change the volume, and all of this from your chair without moving. The media pad has a small LCD screen which displays the date and time, it also tells you when you receive email, it comes up on the screen telling you who its from and the subject line, it also works with MSN when contacts come online. As you know the keyboard and mouse is bluetooth, so far I have tested using the keyboard downstairs with the computer upstairs and it still works, the receiver and docking bay for mouse is also a bluetooth hub, so you can connect your mobile phone/ headphones/etc to it as long as they are bluetooth. You can program the buttons on your mouse and keyboard to what you want to use them for. The main keyboard has an extra key next to the F1 key, this is The F-Lock key if you press it puts the F keys in to enhanced mode so you can press reply to emails open My Comp My Doc My Pic My Music etc. The keyboards them self are very slim line, at the front and to the start of the F keys its 1cm thick and at the back its 2cm thick because of the batteries. The keyboards have non-slip feet on them so it helps keep them together when you put the keyboards next to each other. You may think the price is a bit high for what it is but if you like gadgets and gizmos and you can afford to shell out £150 I would get it, I must be even madder as I bought it for £199.99, as they were the only people to have it in stock. Setup is quite simple follow the instructions and you find it easy. The keyboards and mouse both have a very fast response, the mouse is the one up from the MX700 so you know it’s a good mouse and its bluetooth not standard wireless so no interference. You won’t be sorry if you buy it. Im Not :)
