Immerse yourself in the adventure of Pitfall: The Lost Expedition, featuring over 40 levels of fast-paced action and puzzle solving adventures, the game challenges players to swing, fight, climb and crawl through multiple types of treacherous South American environments including lush jungles, dark tombs, ancient Aztec ruins and glacial mountains. Pitfall: The Lost Expedition also includes favourite features from the earlier Pitfall games such as vine swinging, gaping chasms, crocodiles and scorpions. Gamers can overcome the obstacles using all of the tools in Pitfall Harry's arsenal including a sling, dynamite and ice axes, and rescue those in distress from deadly foes like scorpions, jaguars and teams of enemies.

The original 2-D Pitfall game on the PC was always a great adventure.
A bit like Indiana Jones and Tombraider combined then Re-vamped into a 3D type environment like the Tomb Raider series and it's easy to see why as it has the a mixture of running, jumping and platform style climbing mixed with tricky puzzles and fights.

The game features some of the best graphics i have seen since Prince of Peria SOT and the animation flows smoothly.
The controls are very easy to master, especially during the fighting scenes and exploring, no fidling around trying to remember some tricky combination, simple enjoyable fun.

The view is clear and esay to follow, not frusting camera angles, simple and very precise views.

Pitfall The Lost Expedition has a great feel to the original and its rivals, and i think it is far better than Tombraider, and just as amazing as Price of Persia SOT.
The new ideas add to the usual mix, most notably the change of view form the original 2D game, each of the levels you explor and fights will keep you occupied for many hours and you will be in deep concentration, having fun and playing the game. A real winner. Alex Dubock

I really enjoyed this game. Its graphics were good & Harry (Main Character) makes you laugh.
Puzzles to solve, mountains to climb rivers to cross etc etc
Buy this game for light hearted fun fun fun.

... not a fantastic game, but it IS good, though somewhat 'linear' - in the levels you have to go through, because then the levels are arranged by connection and you effectively have to go back to some places when you get the required item. Do not think this is all that boring, as the game is actually fun: the main character (son of good'ol Pitfall Harry?), the side characters, the enemies ( funny monkeys, and funnier jungle men :D ), the nice jungle surroundings, the story-adventure... it is just a nice product for kids, and like the Shrek movies, many adults (like me) will find it simple and amusing aswell...
