Tak and the Power of Juju is a tale of good vs. evil set in an ancient, tribal world where magic (Juju) actually works--a fantastical setting where the perils that the hero faces are lightheartedly amusing and entertaining. Tak, a young shamans apprentice and unlikely hero, must recover moonstones stolen by an evil Juju-man to save the Moon Juju and restore her powers. Tak will have to stretch beyond his training and use his wits, his environment and the power of the Juju gods to overcome the villain, return the five moonstones to the Temple of the Moon Juju and reinstate peace in his mystical world.

This is possibly the most addictive game I have ever played on the GBA. I only bought this game because I was going on a 9 hour flight to Malaysia and I was worried that I would get bored. I wasn't. This game has no brand name like zelda or Mario. However, it has the gameplay that made super mario world famous, it is so easy to play and so enjoyable, this is a simple game, and the graphics aren't great, but the gameplay is so entertaining that you will bew busy for hours. I recommend you buy this game now. DOn't be tricked because you've never heard of JuLu, this is an enjoyable game with an entertaining main character and a hillarious plot, you should definetely buy this film.

I bought it less than a week ago and i'm bored with it already. I had previously played a demo of anothe Tak game and had enjoyed it, and bought this because of another good review. The plot is simple- people in the village have been turned into sheep and you have to collect herbs and the sheep so they can be turned back into people. That's it really. I'm only on 2-1 but the amount of times i've died is ridiculous, the amount of times i have jumped and missed the platform edge even though i jump at the last second is uncountable, and the amount of times i've had to play from the beginning of a level because i've died is unbearable! I would say this is a good introduction for younger children, but after dying for the fourth time on the first level because of how difficult it is to see some enemies and thorny plants because they are the same colour as the background, i won't say it. I have no intentions of finishing it unless i really am bored and have no other games to play, which is very unlikely as christmas is coming up. Children who are persistant may give it a chance, but as for the rest of us, give it a miss! (Before anyone says i have a ds and haven't played a gba game on there, i have played several and have enjoyed them as much as ds games , sometimes even more!)
