Product Description

Product Description

Red Ninja: End of Honor is an action-adventure title featuring a variety of innovative gameplay features that blend action, adventure, stealth, seduction and fighting. These elements have been placed in a historical Japanese environment with an event-driven story written by famed Japanese feature film director, Shinsuke Sato. Players are transported back to feudal Japan during the 16th century, where a fierce battle for supremacy wages across Japan. With the power of the Samurai decimated after years of clan conflict, warlords turn to the ninja to hold onto political power.

As Kurenai, a female ninja, players fight enemies in a quest to destroy the Black Lizard Clan and avenge the death of Kurenai's father. Kurenai's weapon of choice is the Tetsugen, the revolutionary wire weapon. The functionality of the weapon is determined by the end attachments, length and strength of the wire. As a ninja, Kurenai has a vast range of techniques to escape her enemies, including the ability to dislocate her joints in order to get out of tight spots and prisons, the traditional ninja art of disguise and the womanly art of seduction to seduce and distract. Numerous additional weapons, including blowguns, smoke bombs and rockets explosives, can also be used to destroy enemies. As players develop their powers, their ability to control and manipulate assailants with various ninjutsu powers will increase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Red Ninja ... Don't be fooled, 18 Jul 2005
By A Customer
There are some great games out there. Others are pure rubbish. This game is practically on the border line, sometimes shifting to the good and sometimes to the horrible. The graphics are quite good but for a beginner, the controls are hell. But once you get in the game's flow, it's quite OK actually.
I would suggest it but only for someone who is ready for EXTREMELY long levels and for frustrating controls.
PS: In some cases, you can get seriously lost in the game (it happened to me) and you might end up frustrated so beware!

4.0 out of 5 stars Deserves more credit, 16 Jul 2005
By A Customer
I bought this game purely by chance as there were no reviews and I'd never heard of it before. This game is great. Your weapon is a wire, which you throw at your enemies. You can drag them with it and even hang them by it. There are lots of functions and controls like running up walls, hiding in water, and seducing soldiers.
This also has very good graphics, and a tragic yet beautiful opening to the game. The only reason it gets a four star is because the whole idea is to use ninja stealth, it's much easier to just attack your enemies.
For just over a fiver, it's well worth it!

2.0 out of 5 stars dissapointed and frustrated, 14 April 2006

Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
this game could have been so much fun once you work out the stealth assinations and so on but its the damn cammera it changes on you just at the wrong second ending you in either a fight you could have avoided or a free fall to your death.
there are some other things that you may find anoying i certainly did the first person aim the amount you need to do to get ninja time <not what they called it>

i recomend that you make up your own mind about this game but be prepared to have to get a new joy padd as mine has nearly ended up against the wall a few times. < i think if you have a problem with high blood pressure then stay clear>

The concept of Stealth is completly lost on the bugged up controls. This game is completly let down by it's clunky interface. Read more
