I heard this song for the 1st time on its world exclusive play on Jo Whileys show on Radio 1. Its Amazing, It's got abit of Slade And Freddy Mercury in there but that just makes it better. The song Starts with a Great drum intro and ends with choir children. If you have any sence you'll but this and make it Crimbo No.1. i will.

In the current climate of manufactured pop idols and limp cover versions by androgneous boy/girl bands - thank heaven for The Darkness!

When we're all just about fed up with the same old christmas singles or the new lame cover versions produced by overly sincere boy/girl bands just to cash in on christmas and to get the christmas number one - this comes as a breath of fresh air!.

The Darkness play it strictly for laughs - and this single is just great fun!. Even with the falsetto vocals and the cheesy rock guitar riffs, the song is eminently singable - not least by the myriads of schoolboys across the land on whom the double-entendre of the main title won't be lost!.

And for the rest of us, this is what we want at Christmas! Something new - something to bring a smile to our faces when it's played on a loop in all the shops and supermarkets.

Thoroughly entertaining and original, The Darkness have struck just the right note here. A tongue-in-cheek tribute to previous christmas smashes - but also a new "classic" stamped with their own original style. We'll be seeing more of this song in future Christmasses I'm sure.

So altogether now - "It's Christmas time - Don't let the Bells End!!"

This is on the Christmas list of everyone I know..... they just don't know it yet! It's got everything you need for a truly rocking Christmas - sleigh bells, children singing sweetly, heartfelt yuletide lyrics..... and of course GUITARS! If this doesn't make number one this Christmas, I will eat my furry slippers. Buy it!!!
