The quality of this recording is significantly better than the original EMI disc. All the principals are in superb voice with each one investing their character with the perfect balance of emotions and style. The whole disc is a masterpiece and at this price an absolute 'must have' for anyone with an interest in opera.

This is the definitive recording of Tosca so I was astounded that it came without a libretto. Its absence should have been mentioned in the sales pitch.
