An indirect sequel to Devil Dice, the superb puzzle game for the PS1, Bombastic retains the same playability and additiveness of the original, while expanding and including various new ideas to make the game even more manic!

Bombastic pits you as a Devil/Angel hybrid on a playing field of squares that gradually fills up with dice. The object of the game is to roll the dice around into groups to detonate them and get the space clear. You must group the dice together with their face values i.e. 2x2 spots, 3x3 spots and so on. Doing this is simple via the D-Pad. Once they are lined up the dice are detonated, turn red and explode. Be on the dice when they explode and its game over! The exploding dice cause chain reactions if the explosion hits the number directly belowed the one you just triggered and before you know it the points are raking up and you'll be running around trying to avoid being blown to pieces!

There are several immersive single player modes, including the original Devil Dice game mode which does not have the added pressure of exploding dice everywhere, but the game really excels as a multi player game too. Up to 5 players can play the War Mode where the numbers you chain together take points off the other players. Its a last man standing bonanza and its great fun and mayhem for all who play.

While the game can take a little while to get into, what the best feature is, is that there are so many different ways to play the game.

Bombastic may not be for everyone, but if your a fan of puzzle games and off the wall, fun and addictive gameplay - Bombastic should be at the top of your list!

if you cant tear yourself away from non-stop seemingly meangingless but addictive games then this is for you. i can happily leave my husband with this game for hours and he is as good as gold. take some time out for yourself, have some 'me-time' and buy this for the loved one in your life x everybody hug now

Bombastic is a fun quick simple game to be played by people of all ages (if anything I think the older generation will find it more entertaining) to be played with a couple of friends. Haven't really got into the story mode though.
