Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Citywide blackouts, stock exchange sabotage, electronic hijacking of national defence systems... Information warfare can turn into a world war, and the situation is rapidly escalating in Asia. You are the one and only Sam Fisher, the NSA's most elite black-ops agent sent on a mission deep into hostile territory. The world relies on you to take down the enemy silently, precisely, and without leaving a trace.

Hide in the shadows and neutralize your enemies without them even knowing what hit them. You will kill at close-range, use your cutting edge weapons, and utilize new acrobatic moves and suppression techniques, such as the inverted neck break.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for the N-Gage game deck is the first mobile game in the series set in an immersive 3D world. Go head to head with a friend or play against each other in teams of two over the wireless Bluetooth connection. You can also take on co-operative multiplayer infiltration missions, where teamwork is the ultimate weapon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Splinter Cell is good, 14 Dec 2003
For anyone who has played the gba version of splinter cell this is almost the same game. The game is a 2d scroller like the java versions but the sprites are much improved, indeed Sam Fisher looks almost 3d in some cases.

The game is about an NSA operative called Sam Fisher doing his daily job of infiltration and adventure. The game itself runs smoothly and is as far as i can see the same storyline as the gba version. The thing that sets it apart is the mulitplayer.

Unlike the last gba port of sonic N where the multiplayer aspect was removed, Gameloft have added a multiplayer mode for the N-gage to use over bluetooth, well 2 modes. 1 is a co-operative version of the main game and one is a sniper game. I have not played it myself but I expect both are good examples of co-operative and vs play.

This was a great game on the gba and nothing has changed here about the gameply, it is still very good with added touches of the locks and safe subgames. A very good addition to the up and comin N-gage library.
