Since she exploded on the music scene in 2001, Alicia Keys' life has been a whilwind, but this new track taken from the album... "Diary of... Alicia Keys" is far from a fast, upbeat R&B song that some may have expected.

In fact You don't know my name tends to look back to Alicia's roots with sultry chocolatey vocalys and sees a perfect progression from 'Songs In A Minor'.

'You Don't Know My Name' is the first single to be taken from the album and witnesses Alicia's diversity in range and style. The track describes the journey of a secret crush over a catchy beat that destines this track as a classic.

Outside bet: Christmas Number One? It's got a real chance - it a great record and wears it's heart firmly on it's sleeve. This is going to run and run in December - I've already heard people humming the tune at work. It's a fantastic track that reminds me of the best of 80's soul music. It's bound to be a massive hit with loads of airplay and will drive sales of the album towards a top 5 Xmas seller.
Alica Keys has come up with a song that's full of sentiment without being contrived, which is no mean feat these days!
I'm utterly charmed by this record. Now, where did I put those Luther Vandross albums..?

Well what can i say. Alicia is finally back!! Songs in A Minor was an amazing album as were all of her previous singles - nobody can deny that! So...i had low hopes for her comeback. But Alicia's talent has surpassed my expectations and this single "U dont know my name" has become one of my favourites from her. Her soulful voice and the uniqueness of the song itself earn this single a wopping 5 stars! A complete must for anyones CD collection.
