A curious little tune which when I first heard it in 2002 for several months it kept coming back. Musicaly Swimmer one is difficult to pin down essentialy they are unique with a user friendly style. If you hate this band you are either tone deaf, mentaly unbalanced or in dire need of having a pick axe in their head. So if you have a chav playing their ring tones in the bus just crank this up and the whole world will feel so much better, that and you won't feel the urge to put the mobile phone up where the sun doesn't shine sideways.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Outstanding Debut from Scotland's Finest., 10 Jun 2008
This,the debut single release from Swimmer one,is an intelligent and complex piece of modern pop whilst also being very accessible,extremely memorable and a song to cherish.
Both lyrically and musically there is so much going on "under the surface" of this record.I particularly love the discretely produced Mellotron-style samples which shimmer away in the mix.Andrew Eaton's vocals are at first quite matter-of-fact in their delivery,but as the song develops they become filled with passion and sincerity.
I believe this song to be a Modern Classic-it should be on the syllabus for all who strive to find the sparkling gems on the shoreline,rather than the washed up debris.
