5.0 out of 5 stars the sims is da best, 24 Aug 2004
as a great fan of the sims, i think it is great that they put it on GBA. this game isn't the stay at home game like the one for PC, this is a great free-roaming town known as SimValley, on the outskirts of SimCity. you can have up to 4 houses from a rickety old barn to a mansion and the amount of other sims and buildings like restaurants, bars and shops is massive. to shop you can go to a nice little local shop, which also runs auctions, or you could go to a proper household shop in the center of town. you can run errands for your sims and the whole game is based on missions, which makes a whole new sims game. the jobs are great fun too. just be at the right place at the right time and you can play a massive set of addictive mini-games which will earn you cash. all the old parts of the sims are still there like, eating, going to the bathroom, showering, promotions, studying, you know what i mean. you can have a scooter from a gangster, a house from a dodgy buisness man and a night club from a docter with an afro.

this is ideal for a beginner or advanced player for the sims and this game is much, much more calmer from the frantic gameplay from the PC game as it is much easier to get your social levels back to the top or put out a fire before your house is a burning pile of ruble.

great game and is well worth buying

c ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Handheld, 27 Dec 2003
I didn't really know what to expect with this game, but, when I started playing, it turned out to be perfectly different.

The basic aim of the game is to gradually move to a bigger and and better house. Sounds boring? It isn't.

To move up in the world, you have to complete 5 tasks per house, with each one involving 3-6 sub-tasks. These can be anything from raising money, to making friends with certain people. You're helped out by a scooter, which you acquire early on in the game.

For veteren fans of The Sims, theres the usual ability to furnish your house, and control your Sims every move. But in Bustin' Out, theres a whole town to explore, with pet shops, gyms and librarys, plus a far more in-depth way to interact with other Sims.

Overall: RECOMMENDED!

4.0 out of 5 stars WOW! I'm addicted!!!!!!, 14 Nov 2004
By Hamiblues (Greece) - See all my reviews
This game is not one any gamer should miss out on: the graphics are amazing not to mention the cool and fun mini-games which earn you money. After being set a noumber of tricky challenges then you move your stuff in a place of your own. You have a wicked motobike to can ride around Sims Town on.
You have more independence than Ps2, Abox and PC versions as you can do literally what do want. It's so addictive i spent 6 hours full stop until i was dragged off it!
Don't hestitate - I can guarantee it will not disappoint
