    I ordered my C-5000zoom camera on sunday night, got an email from Amazonon Monday, then much to my delight I received my camera on Tuesdaymorning. Great start to my purchase, but did it continue????
    Well, yesit did. The most difficult thing about the C-5000zoom camera is fittingthe strap. It is a stylish light weight camera. The firm grip andergonomic button layout means that after no time at all you really couldbe taking photo's with your eyes shut.(but best to keep them open)
    In less than 2 hours from opening the box, the lithium ion battery wascharged and the 32MB xd picture card was full. I intend to purchase morememory and do think that if I had to complain about anything it would bethat surely these range of cameras should come with at least a 128MB xdcard.(just now, three 128MB xdcard from Amazon works out cheaper thanbuying one 256mb xdcard )
    For those who use their cameras at everypossible event and under every conceivable condition both the 6 sceneprograms facility or the option to have it fully manual isinvaluable.
    All this and I haven't even mentioned the absolute clarityand quality of the pictures, down loaded onto your computer, onto thetv/video or printed out.
    The C-5000zoom camera was a more expensive camera than intended to buy butit has been worth every penny and then some. The same camera on my localhigh street was over £100 more expensive.
    I see my purchase of the Olympus C-5000zoom digital camera as a wiseinvestment. It is sure to fill my needs now and for years to come.

    I have been a keen photographer for many years and this is my first foray into the digital age.I only received my C5000 today but I am thrilled with my choice and have already produced some wonderful results.The camera itself looks terrific and feels so good you just don't want to put it down.All the more basic functions are straightforward and are easily understood.I will enjoy getting to grips with the clever stuff.I have used it in varied light conditions both inside and out and it copes remarkably well.I have seen other peoples results with a variety of cameras and must say that the C5000 is the best I have seen.The pictures blown up to fill my computer screen are as clear and well defined as the professional sample pictures.
    I would recommend this camera to anybody and anyone finding fault,especially at the price,must be serious nit-pickers.

    This is a very good camera, which is easy to use, takes superb picturesand is compatible with the XD memory card system which has a memorycapacity of up to 512 Mb (more than 500 pictures at high resolution). There are lots of different functions which allow you to take pictures ina variety of settings and conditions (landscapes, night pictures,close-ups, and sport situations).
    If you are looking for a goodquality digital camera under £300, then this would be an excellent buy.
