For storage, the Xacti C1 uses an SD memory card. Since video clips are recorded and stored in easyto-browse digital format, time is saved rewinding and fast-forwarding to a chosen scene. Storing the Xacti C1 in its handy Docking station ensures that it's always charged and ready to go. And, when it's time to play back what you've recorded, a USB/AV terminal gives you instant connection to a TV or PC. You can either hook the Xacti C1 up directly, or hook up via the Docking station. The supplied remote controller, meanwhile, lets you operate the Xacti C1 from a distance.

Despite its compact size, the Xacti C1's lens system comprises a total of 11 large-diameter 24 mm lenses. There are 8 different types of lens, including two adjacent aspheric lenses. The Xacti C1's compact, high-end 5.8x optical zoom lens enables still-picture shooting at a resolution of 3.2 megapixels. Together with the 10x digital zoom, it provides up to 60x zoom capability. Users are guaranteed fine-tuned exposure control thanks to the smooth-operating video aperture and the precise shutter control mechanism.

MPEG-4 digital recording makes it easier than ever to connect to your computer. Simply drag and drop to save the recorded video clips to your hard drive. The Xacti C1's included software, meanwhile, lets you easily edit your video clips as well as make video tapes, video CDs, or DVDs. At last your video clips can be stored at the high resolution they deserve. And don't worry if you don't have access to a computer. Simply use an AV cable to connect the Xacti C1 to your VCR or DVD player, and enjoy your video clips at superb high resolution.

Once they've been loaded from the Xacti C1 to your computer, files can be compressed easily for your convenience. Doing so allows you to send video clips or still images by e-mail, or upload them to your home page all at the drop of a hat. So share those high-resolution images with friends and family today.

With the Xacti C1's convenient menu, you can easily find the recorded images you're looking for. Select the appropriate menu item, and you can watch recorded images as separate video clips, or watch them as a continuous video montage, which includes a slide-show of your still images. Now you can print your photos directly, without having to hook up to a PC first. Just use the supplied cable to connect the Xacti C1 to a PictBridge compatible printer (sold separately). Then, from the camera's LCD monitor, select which image you want to print and use any of the various settings on the print menu.
