If you know disco you'll know Donna Summer and you're in for a real treat if you get this Collection!All the tracks are from albums you probably already have but there are several long versions and few which I haven't heard for years but they all are Classics and still sound as fresh as they did on first release.However what is really beginning to bug me Big time,as it did on a couple of previous Donna albums,is the absolute dis-regard of I FEEL LOVE.Yes it is on this album-but yet again-cut to a 3 minute track -missing out all the work producer Giorgio Moroder put into the mix.You go to any retro club and you'll probably hear this cut down track which doesn't show why it changed the face of music and why it has been s popular sample for many years now.
Its a minor complaint but I'm not the only person who feels that this cheapens any Donna Summer Collection.Apart from that,this is one of the best collections yet and covers a lady and a fabulous genre in the 1970's ,Don't miss this one!!!!
