Honetstly, no bull, the xbox is the best console around at the moment. I used to be a PS2 man like most people untill i played a friends x box, The graphics are a LOT better than the PS2, it also comes with a hard drive so you dont have to fart about with memory cards you can store loads of music on there so you can listen to your tunes if youre playing games like, Project Gotham Racing2 (which kills Gran Turismo). The PS2 crew will say, "look at the size of it though". Dont know about you but I dont plan to take my xbox jogging so who cares really. The ps boys used to say "we got GTA" but so have we GTA III and Vice city on one disc for 29.99 (on amazon). AND THE GAMES!!!

Halo, Knights of the old republic, rainbow six III, Project Gotham, counterstrike (these wont be out on Ps, it cant handle them) and soon to be Half Life II, Halo 2, Deus ex II, Splinter Cell II, honestly it is the best console. also you can download levels off of xbox live or demo cds.
, best games best stuff and of course x-box live. all my mates whove played mine agree. everyone who comes in contact with it says " im getting me one of these"
BUT! like everything there are downfalls, and im not gonna be biased i`ll share them. You have to buy a dvd starter kit to watch movies which are about 16.99, and is a skank. It is a heavy console to dragging it round your mates wont be a small tasks. There is less game variety. no-ones got one so trying to borrow games is a pain. Bill Gates gets richer when you buy one. the pads a but crap for footie games as its designed for first person shooter. If you wont pick up and play kinda stuff get a PS2,xbox games are very mature, not for kids but for serious gamers who want serious games.

What can I say about this package? Well, to start the X-box console is the best console to arrive since the Dreamcast. X-box offers a number of great features such as X-box live. The games that come with this package are amazing, Splinter Cell is one of the most enjoyable games I have played on the X-box. Brute Force comes a close second to Splinter Cell. What can be more fun than being an elite stealth fighter.

Console looks powerful but it is very noisy (I'm not sure if this is normal and I don't know how to verify).

Splinter Cell - very good but I wish I could save the game at random point and not only when I reach a certain point (I spent 30 mins doing great, then I make a mess in the end so I have to go through all 30 mins again). I don't like Brute Force particularly but it might grow on me.

All in all - good buy - recommended!
