Le Creuset textiles are the perfect accompaniment to our cookware; all are made from the finest materials and will retain their colour even in the most demanding kitchens.
Hot pot? Fear not. Le Creuset's oven glove, pot holder, and mitts are essential tools for all serious cooks. Our kitchen textiles feature a special nylon barrier between the layers of insulation, ensuring maximum protection against steam and grease. The Teflon coated fabric repels stains and water and the colourfast dyes endure wash after wash. Specially crafted for Le Creuset products, this handle glove protects the hand while offering a firmer grip.
The Le Creuset Handle Glove is the ideal gift to give with the Le Creuset cast iron Omelette pan or Grillit.
Versatility Le Creuset textiles are available in a choice of vibrant colours as are Le Creuset stoneware and enamelled cast iron cookware, thus they make a perfect fit to your collection.
Le Creuset Textiles Le Creuset textiles are made of a unique combination of natural materials:
1st layer: commercial quality towelling – 100% cotton, an excellent natural insulator. Stain and splash resistant thanks to a special Teflon coating.
2nd layer: stitch bonded cotton interlining – extra protection from this traditional lining, a proven insulator.
3rd layer: integral steam/grease barrier – an additional layer to prevent dangerous transference of heat if gloves get wet or greasy during use.
4th layer: canvas - 100% cotton, stronger and more resistant than drill or jacquard. Teflon coated – the most durable coating available to resist stain and repel water.
Care and Use Le Creuset textiles are fully washable and pre-shrunk.
About Le Creuset A lifetime spent crafting the finest cookware. Le Creuset has been making superb, award winning cookware since 1925 and the secret recipe of ingredients remains the same today. Each piece is made from a unique mould into which molten iron is poured from a large cauldron (called a creuset). This creates a unique piece, each with it’s own identity and style. The piece is then hand finished and subjected to strict quality checks. Finally the cast iron is enamelled at extremely high temperatures to create the vibrant lustre and hard finish which looks great in the home.
