The most important, although least exciting, part of this bundle is the theory CD-ROM, which includes every question in the official DSA Driving Theory Test Question Bank--that's over 1,000 questions. From the main menu you can brush up on your Highway Code theory, take a test or look something up in the electronic Highway Code. The Hazard Perception CD-ROM on the other hand, contains 100 video clips, filmed from the driver's point of view and covers the kinds of situations you'll encounter when you start to drive whether you're out in the country, on a main road, driving in the fog or negotiating a lorry that's unloading on a high street.
The Practical CD-ROM is even more fun. Here you can try out more than 100 3-D driving lessons covering everything from pre-drive safety checks and moving off, to joining and exiting a dual carriageway. You "drive" the car using your mouse and keyboard--so obviously it's not totally like the real thing--but it's a fine companion to the Driving Theory CD and will allow you to get used to quite complex traffic situations without too much unnecessary stress.
Finally there's Route Finder 3.5, which now includes nearly 6,000 points of interest, along with all the usual journey planning features. You can specify preferred routes and avoid others, define whether you want to choose the fastest, shortest or cheapest route and then print both the map and the instructions so you can take them with you.
