This review is from: Music from the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Audio CD)
I bought disc this thinking it was the original soundtrack from the film. It is not. It is the music from the film, but it has not been performed with a full orchestra, as it implies on the cover. Think "Casio Keyboard" synthetic instruments instead.

I am now returning this CD and buying the geniune "original" soundtrack instead.

The Lord of the Rings Soundtrack is great for any mood, with tracks of powerful classical to soothing chillout. Some of the worded songs even contail elfish lyrics. There is nothing more to say apart from if you buy it, you will not be disappointed!

Wow. What can i say? The film was fantastic, it absolutley blew meaway-but what would the film be without the music? The music makes thefilm (aswell as brilliant acting, special-effects and of course the plot).
The music is a brilliant way to chill out-or just to see if youcan recognise the pieces of music from the film! There is a combination ofslow dramatic music (Evenstar, Breath Of Life, Gollum's song, Samwise thebrave)and fast breath-taking music (The riders of Rohan, The Uruk-hai,Foundations Of The Stone, Helm's Deep).
This soundtrack is anabsolute must by if your a fan of the film. Even if you're not-it's stilldefinatley a good buy because the music is just totally awesome. So buy itnow...let the relaxing and the dramatic music take you away! Enjoy :)
BONUS: If yyou buy this album...you get piccy's inside the cd cover-andyou can change the front cd cover! The best one's are the one's withTreebeard on the front...and Arwen/Ewoyen...you get Aragorn on the back!:P
