This album has got to be one of the most versatile recordings from an artist i've ever heard! Lisa manages to cover many musical genres seamlessly. I bought this album for one track in particular which i heard while swing dancing in Munich. Although they are not strictly swing, two of the tracks will have swing dancers unable to sit still. It also feels like folk music from all over the world has influenced these songs. The one thing that holds all the musical shifts together is Lisa's voice. It's magnificent, and on occasion she hints at Berlin caberet from the 1940's with her internation. My only gripe would be that some of the instruments used feel inappropriate at times. This could just be to do with the fact that this album is over 10 years old. I'm not crazy about the clarinet but luckily it doesn't feature much. I can recommend this to anyone trying to learn Swedish. Her voice is so beautifully clear, you'll be singing along after a few listens. Swedish is a beautiful language and Lisa is one hell of a singer. You must have this album.
