This review is from: Dust in Sunlight (Hardcover)
This story covers France during the war, moves from England and then to Ireland!

Ruth, who is an army nurse marries Alex Channing who is killed after 4 months of married life. Ruth later finds out this marriage is only one of convienience for Alex. Her friend Ginny who is also a nurse marries, an Irish man called Michael and moves to Ireland to live with him.

Ruth goes to Ireland as her friend is sick, it is difficult for Ruth as she herself is English and it is during the Irish struggle for independance. Ruths friend, Ginny is married to an Irish patriot. Ruth herself becomes involved in the Irish struggle.

I enjoyed this, well worth a read.
