Macromedia are undoubtedly the kings of web design tools. This package contains the latest versions of all their major software titles (and free updates from their website). The thing that stands out the most about this amazing software is the documentation. The tutorials provided are the best I've seen for any piece of software, Each tutorial has small subsections that cover pretty much everything you're ever going to want to do with Studio MX and its easy to just dip into it and find the little snippet of information you're after and follow it. There are more indepth tutorials on their website covering just about anything you could want to do, and a buzzing support forum where you can ask questions to fellow members.

Not having used dreamweaver before I was surprised to find out I could build a dynamic website, have it retrieve info from a remote database, Implement a search function on all my pages and upload the whole lot to my server without ever having to do any coding (I really was expecting to have to do at least a little as my site was quite complex), but Dreamweaver MX handles everything behind the scenes.

Flash is another gem! Once you get the hang of it and find out what its really capable of you'll see it is quite an amazing piece of kit and can do so much more than just play animations like I previously thought.

Fireworks is a welcome tool to those who want their sites to look professional, with this you can make some really neat navigation bars for your site and then import it into Dreamweaver and place on your pages.

I can't speak for the cold fusion server technology or Freehand MX which also comes with this bundle as I never needed to use them but this bundle is well worth it just for Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks.

So, If you're wanting to design webpages this is the software for you, don't even consider anything else, If the package seems to pricy for your budget then just go for dreamweaver and buy the rest seperately if you need them later.

for a professional website with desent graphics this is the way to go! flash is simple to use with it's prodictive movemtn tool and the ability to be used in a web site!
