5.0 out of 5 stars
Excellent Value & Performance, 21 Feb 2004
In all honesty I did not expect much from a brand that is not as recognised as Nokia, Motorola, etc. but at less than £50 for a Bluetooth headset, what is there to lose? In-fact, I have gained massively. Initially it took me a little getting use to. When the headset is idle, it goes to sleep, therefore when the phone rings, the headset does not make the ring tone. When dialling from the phone and again the headset is sleeping, there is no sound from the headset. This is a little annoying, especially whilst driving. To use the headset when the headset is in sleep mode and you are dialling out, you have to wait for the call to be answered before you can transfer the call to the head unit. This has a delay of 5-7 seconds, otherwise you will hang-up. To pick a call and to re-dial using the headset is easy and swift, therefore my only gripe will be the dial out call transfer to the headset. Once one has gotten use to the way the headset works it's very well. The headset is very light, and the most impressing feature is the microphone sound pick-up. The head set can pick-up my whispers - fantastic! So why do I rate the product at 5 stars, well the price >£50, talk time of 8 hours (I have not re-charged it over a week), sound clarity, sound pick-up, comfort of use, and there are no headset on the market currently for this spec and money. A well known brand will cost twice as much and will not have the same talk time or standby (200 hours), therefore it deserves the high rating. To conclude - Buy one or two (one for the wife).
