    Having finally laid to rest my old HP laserjet I found myself searching for a new printer. I settled on the PSC2175 partly because of my previous experience of HP and partly because I found the all-in-one setup ideal for a home office where space is at a premium.

    So far I have been very impressed. The setup was simple and quick with excellent instructions, the software is easy to use and not too intrusive (i.e. not continually updating itself) and the footprint of the machine is surprisingly small considering its multiple purposes. The print quality has been excellent so far both for documents and for photos.

    The only slight drawbacks are the lack of a USB cable in the box and the expensive print cartidges, however these can be bought cheaply if you look around.

    All in all an excellent buy!

    I bought this machine, like previous purchasers, to save on space and to have good quality printing - I haven't been let down. The lift top lid allows you to copy books or single pages. Print quality is good - it also allows you to alter the print quality to fast so it doesn't absorb so much ink - ideal if you just want a copy for yourself.

    The photocard option is good as it allows you to preview your piccies on screen before ticking the boxes of those that you want.

    It also allows you to enlarge/reduce the copy, enhance the text of a copy or make it lighter/darker.

    The scan function allows you to scan straight from the machine (so you don't need to have a pc).

    The print cartridges are approx £11-£12 if you shop around, but watch out for cheaper ones because they bump up the price with the postage.

    All in all, a very good machine for the money £150.00 (it hasn't came down in price). I'm not disappointed because it's never let me down.
