Fascinating!, 11 Mar 2005
Out of all the Newcastle United DVD's that I own, this one is the best. The Official History looks at Newcastle from the club's humble beginnings right through to the present day, with interviews with all the big names such as MacDonald, Beardsley, Moncur, Shearer and many more.
As a younger fan, I find great fondness in reliving the more recent eras in the club's history, and seeing just how much the Stadium, St. James' Park, has changed down the years.
The accompanying music fits the feature perfectly, and there are some interesting archive news reports as extra features on the disc too, such as Jackie Milburn's funeral in 1988, and a feature on Gazza and Glenn Roeder from aroung the same time.
All in all, three hours of top-notch viewing for the diehard Newcastle fan-highly reccommended!

this is brilliant for any NUFC fan or footy fan!! Very good at describing Newcastle Uniteds colourful past!!! You will learn well with this!
