Product Description

1997 Comedy Drama written and directed by Stuart Urban, starring Guinevere Turner (Go Fish) & Christien Anholt (Tv's - Relic Hunter). When Henry Harding MP (Tom Bell - The L-Shaped Room; Wish You Were Here), a British government minister on a moral crusade, hires an inexperienced young computer whizzkid, Peter Emery (Anholt) who works for a Christian computer company called Holy Hardware, to infiltrate the United Kingdom BDSM scene. Harding is set on putting a club called "House of Thwax" run by Mistress Tanya Cheex (Turner) out of business, and is sure that Peter's secretly videotaped evidence of the club's activities will do the trick. However, the virginal Peter takes a liking to Tanya Cheex and finds himself falling for the Mistress. Amongst the supporting cast are a host of well-known faces including; Julie Graham, Georgina Hale, Ricky Tomlinson, Roger Lloyd-Pack, Sue Johnston Don Henderson. * Trivia; Several well-known BDSM performance artists appear including; Chaos Clowns, Luci the Axle Grinder, also known as "Lucifire", Miss Kimberly, The Fetisnonn, Suzi Woodroffe, & Tutu.

A very funny, watchable and clever film about christianity and those who preach it on the one hand, and those that like to engage in slightly more kinky pasttimes on the other. It explores the question of what consenting adults should be allowed to do to each other either in the privacy of their own homes, or in the company of other like-minded people.
The film is littered with excelent one-liners, and subtle visual jokes, which it uses to challenge your pre-conceptions of what certain types of people are like.
Those looking to find porn in this film will be disappointed - there is little nudity, and there are no explicit sex scenes. The film relies more on suggestion, with some great camera shots.
All in all, a worthwhile purchase for anyone with a broad mind and an adult sense of humor.

This is the best film I've seen this year, maybe ever.
I urge everyone to watch this asap alone or with friends,
absolutely fantastic. Stuart Urban's directing is crisp the pacing is perfect and the jokes staggeringly funny. Watch this NOW!!!!

Truly one of the best S/M-movies. Funny, kinky, with good actors and it is a film with a message: against censorship, against bigottry, for the freedom of everybody's sexual life.
This film is worth being bought and being seen!

What do you say? The underground scene is perfect. The music score is hard techno and the images are weird.
The movie is a wonderful example of the duality in the english society. The typical english porn-movie is so bland. Nylon, stockings ...
P2P is the story about how an MP is trying a fight against smut. But everthing goes wrong!
It's a perfect film, some nasty words, rope&bondage, hardcore techno, stylished images, cute girls... there is something for everyone here.

I remember buying this film after reading the back of the VHS case and thinking 'this sounds interesting'..that was way back in the 90's and the film was part of a 5 for £30 VHS deal in my local Virgin Megastore..

On first watch i loved the film, it was instantly installed as a favourite. The general plot is the 'establishment's' attempts to censor / ban what they consider to be vile pornography. They send in an undercover guy to infiltrate the organisation and get the evidence they need to shut them down..this doesn't quite go to plan :-)

The actors fit the roles so well and the storyline is fantastic..some extremely funny moments and it opens your eyes to the S & M scene which exists but not alot of people have exposure to.

Due to the phasing out of VHS this film has become very hard to get and i honestly thought i would never see it again...then comes along the amazing KickStarter project ! i was instantly connected to that and became a supporter to help to ensure that this film would be made available to the masses once again.

As part of my package i received a blu-ray copy of the film and even have my name on the end credits :-) which is one of my proudest moments !

The blu-ray copy is great quality, the restoration process has been amazing and the end product is quite spectacular. The picture is full HD and with DTS sound it sounds awesome as well. The extra's on the blu-ray are also fantastic, most if not all have never seen the light of day before !

I urge everybody to buy this film either on DVD or blu-ray and let's ensure this great British film does not disappear into obscurity again !

There are few if any films of this genre which are of this calibre.
british movies may be slated for being too "clever" but I think with P2TP Stuart Urban has hit the nail on the head (or should that be hit the slave on the ass?) as far as getting the balence right is conserned.
The film centres around Tanya and Peter and the unusally life that they both lead.
Tanya is an authority-defying performance-artist on the SM club scene in London and Peter is a volentere in parliament who has to go under cover to collect evidence for Henry Harding MP before Tanya can be convicted.
As you can imagen the tension is high as the two develop a relationship the likes of which neither of them have experienced.
For Tanya, Peter is the first man she has trusted as a friend in a long while and for Peter, well his eyes are only just starting to open to the delights and horrors which life with Tanya brings.
Don't get me wrong though, apart from the odd nipple and some wonderfully loud orgasm scenes this is NOT a porno neither is it all that pervy, Stuart Urban once again finds the middle ground, giving you enough visual clues to know what is going on but he resists going to far and being vular.
Humour can be found throughout P2TP, in the splashes of hot pink on almost every scene just to remind the viewer that this is NOT a documentary on the London SM scene but a movie whose sole purpose is to entertain.
A wonderfull film with an amazing array of talent in the cast.
Truly a cult film in the making but an enjoyable watch for all I have no doubt (although I am not sure I would watch it with my granny on a Sunday afternoon)

I remember seeing Preaching to the Perverted sometime in the 90's (I think on Sky!) and i remember thinking that this is the first film that i have seen that may broach the subject of fetishism. I still have to this day an old VHS copy that i picked up but sadly video has been obsolete for a number of years and i have not had the opportunity to indulge and watch this classic.

Imagine my surprise when i learned that the movie had been restored for DVD/Blu Ray and boy oh boy was i in for a surprise. Not only is the movie there with the strong british cast (see how many you can recognise in todays TV!) but the transfer is fautless and there are superb extras that to date have not been seen

The story is there, as you remember it, however 1080p picture along with a resonating DTS soundtrack make this movie more enjoyable after only seeing a pan/scan VHS copy!

This movie is a classic of british film making with a strong story and some risque subject matter but it is truly a heartwarming story with some absolutely classic comedic moments.

The story is one of the UK government wanting to obtain evidence of assaults in an S&M club and they send in an undercover young computer geek to do this, with hilarious results.

I won't elaborate too much as i wouldn't want to spoil the plot for any potential new viewers but this is a great story told with humour and tackling some of the more taboo subjects and not just showing these subjects as smutty!Read more ›
