Amazing live album. I bought this on a recommendation from a journalist reviewer a while back, and it really is stonking. The recordings really capture the atmosphere of the festival, and are of an incredible quality. The artists are mixed in style,- blues, rock,and even a little rap are blended easily and naturally with more african sounds from traditional instruments. Studded throughout are pure tribal pieces - traditional chants and wails. I'd be really surprised if anyone with a keen love of music and an open mind regarding style disliked this album. The quality of artists, songs and recording, the mix and blend of styles - and the raw edge that it maintains - really do make this a wonderful compilation.
