5.0 out of 5 stars A Crazy Time, 10 Sep 2003
By A Customer
As someone too young (and too American) to have been around to experience S.E.X., I can only relive it through the stories from those who were there and the music as it happened. Fortunately, I received a promo version of this album a few weeks back and have found myself strangely drawn to the tracks. The songs (which were apparently some of those played on the (in)famous S.E.X. jukebox) are diverse and quirky, and I'm grateful that OLLA decided to share them with the rest of the world. Thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars An Alternative History Of Rock, 18 Sep 2003
By A Customer
If you're looking for one of those 'Best Of Punk' type albums then look elsewhere. This album is a compliation of the music that inspired one of the most important movements in popular culture. By turns, the music is electrifying, exciting and very strange indeed. On face value there seems to be few common factors between the tracks found here in terms of style - the common factors are, in fact, energy, spirit and startling originality. From the 'lost' rock classic of Have Love Will Travel by The Sonics, to the sheer insanity of 'Moster In Black Tights' by Lord Sutch. This excellent compilation provides a compact, alternative history of popular music. The highest praise I can give it is to say that you certainly won't own a compilation like it already! You need this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Album!, 18 Sep 2003
By A Customer
Thank you for the fabulous insanity of the SEX compilation album I am thoroughly revitalised. In this plastic fantastic world of hype over content, thank f**k that eccentricity and individuality can still light up the night. Man I've got dancing fever. I think it's great. Give me more...
