Quality Music through Diversity, 3 May 2004
The idea of an album with only 2 English tracks, and the rest in French might put most off from buying this CD.But, for the adventurous, and curious it is such a worthwhile purchase. The combination of Accordian and dance rythyms makes for a truly unique musical experience. Tracks 1+2 are very enjoyable as they're in English, and have plenty thought to the lyrics despite being an obvious after thought to the equivalent French track later..However, tracks 4 and 9 are so enjoyable, for their captivating abilities alone. The theme song for this album is great in English, but just so atmospheric in the original french later on...clearly the language of the singer.. Anyway, for a very enjoybale musical experience along with an experience you could share with friends, its a great buy. Give it a try, you'll not be diappointed.
