Since I heard Ludacris back in 2000 with his second album 'Back For The First Time', I got glued to the 'Dirty South' style. When I heard his 2001 album 'Word Of Mouf' I thought "I don't think it gets better then this." Their were some sick beats dropping on both of those albums and Luda's style of rapping with swiftness and humour made him instantly recognisable. I guess I was right with my comment on 'Word Of Mouf'; as the beats on this album fail to impress. The 'Southern Fried Intro' track was on the same level as some tracks on his previous albums but after that it just dropped. I don't think 'Stand Up' is that great a track anyway as well as 'Act A Fool' for '2Fast 2Furious'. The 'Southern Hospitality Remix' with Ms Dynamite is pretty good. The only track I think he should release on this album is undoubtedly 'Got We' which includes his DTP chums I-20, Tity Boi and Chingy, that song is excellent. But judging from the rest of the tracks it seems like the fame got to Luda's head and it isn't about the quality of the tracks. But if you think about the film and the soundtrack to 2Fast 2Furious it doesn't seem like such a bad year for him. I think Pharrel should have produced this though.

One of the best albums i have ever herd other two best are definatly obie trice - cheers and dizzee rascal - boy in da corner its up there so buy it.
