Best of Order please for David Sneddon, 29 Jul 2003
David Sneddon's 3rd Single blasts at you with a lump of gutsy guitar sounds and a smooth, fitting voice. The first song on the huge seller album, Seven years Ten Weeks, Best Of Order is very diffrent from David other singles, Stop Living the lie and Don't let go. Best Of order has changed Davids image from One-man-and-a-piano as he has a tendancy to be dubbed, to a singer-songwriter who can write a large varity of music, from Ballads to rocky classics. The Album, Seven Years Ten Weeks, hosts alot of songs like Best Of Order, such as Follow me, but people who havent bought Seven years Ten Weeks (why? Buy it!!!!), will be plesently surprised!Best of Order starst with the sounds of a seedy bar, which david used to preform in before his rise to fame. Suddenly a blast of "1 .. 1,2" comes and then a huge chuck of live sounding music including Drums, keyboard and Guitar kicks in. David starts singing with a classy, talented voice, which is perfect for this song. The Wicked chorus "Kick on the beat, and bring on the bass, everyone turn and look at my face cos all i want is the best of order baby" screams at you. The song continues to grow on you, and i must admit, when first hearing this, i was sure - but now i love it! David has - Yet again - written this song himself and has excelled all expectations. David Sneddon is a talent to watch out for, and Best of Order has helped his broaden his arisens and hopefully, gained some new fans! If you prefered David Ballad stuff, such like Stop Living the lie and Dont let go, You'd adore David's debut album Seven Years Ten Weeks, but if you love his new stuff such as Best Of Order then youd be plesently surprised by Seven Yeras Ten Weeks. A great buy and a wicked song!
