Having seen this band live, I bought a promo CD at the end of the gig which was a small affair, in Telfords Warehouse, Chester a few years ago. It quickly became the most played CD in the house!!
These guys have a passion that is hard to come by in most of todays bands. The music is a mixture of Country, americana you could call it, with Definite Blues roots and a unique English country sound. If thats possible.
I have to say I have NEVER, EVER liked Country & western music. I abhor it!
Yet this band play it but in a way that is unique to them. The passion and the raw fire that comes out of your speakers when you put the CD on is something I cannot quite convey to you here. I wish that everyone who read this would go and buy the CD as I feel you should not miss out on the experience!
Everyone in my family has been introduced to them and, predictably, most were hesitant when I mentioned the country sound but, also predictably, they loved it when they heard it and wanted recordings of the CD!! (which, being illegal of course I refused!).
I hope to see a lot more of these guys and wish them every success as they continue to do the circuit. They are always playing somewhere up and down the UK and I plan to catch a show next time they venture south.
VERDICT: You'd be a fool NOT to buy it!
