Inspire your child's imagination with the wondrous Medieval Castle by Pintoy. This classically styled wooden castle is both sturdy and durable. Assembly is simple. The four towers--two squared, two octagonal--are pre-assembled, as is the drawbridge section, so all you need to do is push each section of the castle together. A fair amount of pressure is required to join each section, which are connected by a pair of wooden batons that fit corresponding holes. However, once assembled the castle stands solidly, without any need for adhesives. You can pull each section apart and keep the pieces in the box for storage as necessary. There are several combinations by which you can construct the castle, but the classic four-cornered square is sure to be most popular. There are platforms inside each wall and within each tower to mount figures on (no figures are supplied) and a collection of different length staircases that you can arrange in multiple ways to provide access for your troops to different sections of the castle. The flagpole with its own base can be easily moved from turret to turret. The drawbridge section contains a rotating wooden knob which when turned raises or lowers the drawbridge. The castle is designed for ages three and up and to give you a sense of scale each turret stands just under a foot high (29 cm). --Heather Wilson
