This is a truly excellent c.d.
I watched the film (which is excellent too)on Saturday and ordered the c.d. from amazon on Sunday. It was delivered today Tuesday, and I have played it non stop all day.
The whole score is beautifully written and performed. It is the kind of music anyone can enjoy. Some tracks are gentle and relaxing and others are full of life and exitement. If you have seen the film and enjoyed it, then you will enjoy the soundtrack all the more. My favorite track is Red's first win. There is a beautiful melody central to the whole soundtrack and each track takes the listener through the film sharing 'Biscuit' and 'Red's ups and downs.
This will appeal to classical music listeners too.

The music from this soudtrack reflcts beautifully all the range of emotions that were associated with the life of seabiscuit. The strength and debth of the music carries me into a world which is filled with excitement, grit and extremes, thus drawing on all my inner feelings - great stuff
