I had two of these kettles and both failed.
The first one failed after 11 months, the power light lit up but the water never got hot or boiled. The replacement one failed after 3 months with the same fault.
I have now bought a totally different make and model.
I would not recommend anyone to buy this kettle, avoid it!!
