I was looking for pestles and mortars everywhere and couldn't find anything that I really liked, until I came here and found this set.

The GOOD Points-

Really solid design (cast iron)
Ergonomic (it all fits really well into your hand)
Looks pretty chic

The BAD Points-

Becasue it's cast iron it's really heavy, especially for the size
It's quite small - check the dimensions against a ruler

But all in all, it's a great buy and was just what I was looking for.

I was given one of these as a gift and despite following the cleaning instructions closely, it has rusted and despite it only being a year or so old, it's now un-usable. I would only recommend this product if you were planning on looking at it rather than using it. Also, it's a bit on the small size....
