I really like this game. For one thing, it's great value for money. It should also take you a fair while to finish (or get totally bored with) the one-player game. For me, and probably most players, it comes into its own in multiplayer mode. I haven't played it on Live yet, but just playing with a second person on the same TV is great fun. It makes the gameplay much more urgent.

I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't played Tetris to death already on a different format. If you are already bored with Tetris, the backdrops cannot make up for that. But if you want to play lots of Tetris, I can't see how you would be disappointed.

One small nag is that the in-game music is awful, even to someone who likes all kinds of electronic music. However, because you can play your own pre-ripped music (off of the Xbox harddisk), this is not a big deal. It also handles your playlists very well. Some games keep going back to the first track every time a new game/level or whatever starts. Tetris Worlds keeps the tracks varied.
