Product Description

Product Description

Alias is a third-person action adventure video game that allows players to step into the role of the series' lead character, Sydney Bristow, an agent for the CIA. Bristow must use her cunning, extensive knowledge of martial arts and array of high-tech gadgetry to accomplish dangerous missions. Alias will encompass all of the key elements behind the series' success, including high-action combat, stealth missions and time-based objectives, espionage, intriguing plot twists, high-tech weaponry and stunning locations that span the globe.

After two years of being a double agent inside the criminal organisation SD-6, Sydney Bristow thought she'd brought it down from the inside. She thought her mission was over. She thought she was getting out of the CIA. But when you're a spy, the truth is never that simple... Arvin Sloane, the mastermind behind SD-6, remains at large. And as long as he's out there, Sydney will never be safe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alias game for Xbox, 25 April 2004
By T. Duly "tina4597" (East Sussex, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I am a fan of the show and definately a fan of the game. The gamefeatures locations and disguises used in the show like Sydney's silverwaitress outfit in the casino and the asylum in Romania makes anappearance. There are also new locations and disguises so you won't feellike you're just re-enacting the show. There are a variety of weapons touse from the usual guns and batons to electric guitars and brooms. Marshall's op tech equipment helps you get through doors and lasers butwatch out for the turret guns, they're a nuisance. All the favouritecharacters from the show appear and you even get to play as Vaughn for ashort time. It's a shame you don't get to play as him for longer as hispunches and kicks are more effective than Sydneys. Overall, this is anexcellent game whether you are a fan of the show or not. Only bad pointis it only took me one week to complete but still worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Should you buy Alias?, 26 Mar 2004
By A Customer
I am a fan of the show and I think the game is fanstastic, as a fan. I'm not so sure this will be the case for non-viewers (so maybe you should start watching Alias). The likeness of Jennifer Garner and the whole cast are brillient, the music my Micheal Giachinno adds to the whole feel of the show and the storyline crafted by the writers of the show do too. The graphics are good enough but as with other games on all formats, it doesnt challenge the Xbox. The split screen mode is one of the best features about the game as when in stealth mode you can see where the guards are to avoid them and if that fails you can just kick some ass. The bad points are talking with no mouths moving at times and a little bit repetative with lock picks and hacking computers. Overall I think if you are a fan of the show you will like the game if not it will either get you addicted to the world of Alias or will find its way into the bargin bin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Alias on Xbox, 1 April 2004
By A Customer
I believe this game will do well because of its success on television. If you like Buffy and the vampire slayer games and dark angel you'll love this game because its based on the same format.
