I was so blown away by this album. It gets better every time I listen to it and I haven't stopped since I bought it over a month ago. From the opening song you can see this is something special. In the past RX Bandits would have a song with a cool screaming bit (Infection, Who Would've Thought) or a guitar bit you thought was awesome (Babylon, Status) or anything at all. This has it all.

It gets better as you go on, with political points and views on society, as well as personal issues. matt uses enough metaphors to give you a lot to think about and lets people interpret songs as he wants. By Overcome (The Recapitulation) you're seeing a softer side to the Bandits and Matts singing is shining through. Never Slept So Soundly is amazing instrumentally, vocally, and lyrically. Heavier songs such as Republic and Mastering The List blow you away and softer songs like Falling Down The Mountain and Pal-Treaux give you the feeling of just how much a simple ska band has progressed over the years.

If you can find anything wrong with this CD I admire you for looking so hard. Because at the moment this is the closest to perfection I've ever heard. Have fun.
