Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Within a bright, vibrant, sunny neighbourhood, birds are chirping, dogs are barking and kids are getting ready to play the day away in My Street. But this is no ordinary neighbourhood. Within each backyard, intense competitions are underway to see who rules the 'hood. Up to four kids in each yard (in single-player or online play) are playing with chemicals, dodging remote-controlled cars, playing volleyball and chasing each other through corn fields. With seven games to play, there's no excuse for not getting outside and hanging with your buddies. Because if you're coming to this street, you better be prepared to play.

3.0 out of 5 stars Falls Short of the Mark, 21 Sep 2004

(TOP 500 REVIEWER)    (REAL NAME)
My Street was hooted as an excellent multi-player game which for about an hour it is - then suddenly you realise that the fun is extremely limited!

A shocking 7 games are on offer. Two of them are racing games, one to win and one to cover as much of the track as possible and still win, one an unsuccessful Bust-a-Move rip-off, another a relatively fun chicken herding game, one a poormans volleyball and the other a slightly confusing game of dodgeball. That leaves just one game thats pure genius and thats all to do with magnetic marbles!

Taking the game online is made redundant as you can only ever play with 4 players anyway so why not just get a multi-tap?

Each game is fun for a little while but only the marbles game and possibly the bust-a-move type game have staying power and when you consider that Muppet's Party Cruise has 30 mini games and almost all of them are worth a lot more replayable than these, My Street doesnt really cut it.

This is a really fun game, there is lots to do and it appears to be quite real, it is quite puzzling in story mode whichj gives more enjoyment working it out, excellent graphics.I recommend you buy this game.

i think my street will be a cool game and you will enjoy it but it wont give you hours of fun just a few minutes a day but it will sort of be like mary kate and asliegh sweet 16 where there are lots of different things to do
