I would recommend this swing to anyone, my daughter oves it and has had many happy hours playing on it so far!! Excellent value and durability.

Pros:
> CE Approved
> All bolts have two plain washers as well as a compression washer so draw up nicely (and please the engineer in me)
> Each bolt has a dome head nut (which presumably helps the CE approval since there are no exposed bolt ends anywhere)
> Bright colours
> So cheap (I paid �18 including delivery) that you wonder how anyone in the chain from mining ore in China to delivering the swing to your door can have made a profit

Neutrals
> The legs are just of substantial-enough gauge and diameter for the designed age range (3-10 years) but I wouldn't like an adult to sit on the swing with a child in their lap and then use it
>The nuts, bolts, and washers are chromed so won't rust immediately but the plating is of low quality and won't last indefinitely

Cons
> Mild steel of the legs looks likely to corrode quickly so I took anti-corrosion precautions during assembly (Waxoyl)
> The horizontal tie-bar from which the ropes hang distorted as the nuts were tightened up allowing the paint to crack and flake off on three out of four (more Waxoyl)
> It won't be long before my 12Kg and 14Kg children have bent the thin two horizontal tie bars from hanging in the middle of them by their hands
> 25cm-long bars bolted on an inch from the legs' ends are sunk in to the ground to secure the swing from tipping over, but the design is a pain in the butt for anyone needing to move the swing regularly such as to cut the grass; a solid plug for each leg-end (instead of open tube) and flange for a couple of large tent pegs in each would have been much more convenient; I suspect that most owners will simply use the swing without the supplied bars (and therefore negate the CE approval and run the risk of it tipping over...)

Result
> Certainly not durable or excellent quality but the extremely low price means that even if the swing only lasts a couple of seasons it won't have broken the bank. The kids are delighted with it of course and I'm happy with it. Just.
