5.0 out of 5 stars Si Begg. One many with many alter egos. All superb!, 28 Jul 2003
This review is from: Director's Cut (Audio CD)
With this album Si Begg shows us why he records under so many different names. This album is like a compilation album (various artists), so is forever changing. However the fact that it is produced by one man (with a little help from a impressive lineup of vocalists), give this album a sense of consistency that is normally missing in compilations.
Does it being one man playing at many style weaken the album? NO, this album just proves Si's talent and often manages to out do the majority (and often the top artists) of the various scenes that the is crosses.
Most genres of electronica and dance are incorporated somewhere here, so there must be something for every one, and will push the tastes (in new directions) of most.
One first listen this album is good but with repeated listens it just gets better, as Si's wit and style shows itself amongst the quality crafted tunes and bass lines.
This will be staying in my stereo for a long time yet!
