Global knives are fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone. They stay sharp, are well balanced and even look great, especially in a Global block. I really miss them if I cook in someone elses kitchen.
Global knives are not exactly cheap but a few bought over a period of time represent a great investment and I'm sure that I will never need to replace them.

I initially stumbled across global knives by accident when I bought my mother one. She suffers from severe arthritis and needed a sharp and light knife for the kitchen. She lives overseas and several years later when visiting the knife was still unbelievably sharp and a treat to use. I did some research and discovered that Global Knives are considered by many to be the best, or one of the best, brand of knives in the world. I have recieved both the carving knife and fork as well as this three piece set as gifts (at my request). They are fabulous knives to use and make preparing food so much quicker and more enjoyable. Whilst they are expensive, I consider them a long term investment. I plan to add to my collection with more specialist Global Knives in the future.
