5.0 out of 5 stars Real punk, 28 Feb 2004
I normally dont buy compilation cds because they seem to always be the most heard of tracks by the same old bands, this is because people think that the more tracks peoplae have heard of, the better it will sell. This album breaks the mould. The tracks were chosen by a real punk fan (the person who wrote the original punk 'zine "sniffin' glue")and the tracks are a masterpuece of relatively unheard tracks by classic british punk bands, however 'White Riot' by The Clash makes a deserved appearenceeven though it is popular. Anyway to sum this album up in one sentence I would say: Buy this to hear what defined british punk, the real sound, not the popular sound. A must for all Brit-punk fans
