Friends series 9 volume 4, 9 Jul 2003
The episodes that feature on this dvd (episodes 17-20) are the following: The One Where Monica Sings Rachel tries to sort out her feelings for her handsome co-worker Gavin. Ross hires Chandler to help him meet attractive women to make Rachel jealous. Phoebe regrets taking Monica to a karaoke night when Monica takes the microphone and sings, delighting in the applause, not knowing that the audience is cheering because they can see through her dress! Joey must have painful eyebrow waxing before a photography session! The One With The Blind Dates Joey and Phoebe plot to arrange bad dates for both Rachel and Ross, in the hope that this will bring them back together. Rachel's date is Steve (Jon Lovitz, who also guest starred as the same character in series 2 or 3). Meanwhile Monica wants to get intimate with Chandler while they babysit Emma - but when they leave her alone, she screams. The One With The Mugging Joey develops an unusual acting method in order to impress a famous actor, Leonard (Jeff Goldblum), during an audition for a major role. Meanwhile, Ross is shocked to discover who mugged him when he was a child. Chandler accepts an internship as an advertiser, where the young interns make him feel extremely old. The one With The Boob Job Phoebe asks her boyfriend, Mike (Paul Rudd), to move in with her, but the topic of marriage might cause trouble in their relationship. Meanwhile, since Monica and Chandler have little money as Chandler is unemployed, Monica secretly asks Joey for a loan. But when Chandler also approaches Joey for some cash, Joey accidentally gives it away that Monica did too, and tries to cover with an crazy story. Also, Rachel tries to baby proof the apartment, though ends up making it Joey proof too. These are some of my favourite episodes ever in friends, and I think that series 9 is the best yet. These episodes are as brilliant as ever.
