On this album, Laraaji invites the listener to programme the selection of tracks according to his or her mood, including four tracks of pure silence which can be interspersed wherever it is felt appropriate. Such was Laraaji's philosophy--he didn't believe in "beginnings" and "ends", but a circum-ambient infinity, best evoked on "Being There", 25 minutes of blissfully rippling, unaccompanied zither.
