This is a fantastic offering from a hugely talented artist. This albums less jazz influenced than the first but every song is a classic my favourite is track 6 'When You Call My Name'. Vocally Frank McComb sounds like a cross between Donny Hathaway and Stevie Wonder and has a voice like silk. Definately a must for all soul/jazz fans.

Frank McComb is a brilliant musician, and if you like smooth soul, a warm voice, and heavy chords you'll like this album. His first album, Love Stories, captured my heart, not only with the sound and feel of the songs, but the depth of the words. This, I think, is lacking slightly in Frank's second album. The groove of 'The Truth' is alot more funky and different to Love Stories, but it has a quality in it's own right. My favourites are tracks 3, 8 and 10. As you can tell, I'm a hopeless romantic - and promises of love played over the keyboard are bound to win me. So if you are anything like me, get this album!

I can't say that I expected any less, but Mr. McComb has thoroughly impressed me again with "The Truth". Funkier and grittier than "Love Stories", it was just what I love to hear. His vocals are banging and the music is tight. It's definitely another must have!

I like this album. It's not as good as "Love Stories", but it's good just the same. Track #3 is my favorite. If you haven't heard of Frank McComb, than you need to ask somebody.

His music has always moved me! I wasn't surprised he titled this album the truth, because he always has been. Now all I need from him is a concert in the states! :)
